Play areas are a brilliant way to spend a fun few hours with the kids. Luckily, Singapore has a great selection of places where the kids can run and play in the fresh air whilst travelling in Singapore as a family.

Some great outdoor play areas to visit when in Singapore include:

West Coast Park

West Coast Park is a veritable haven for children of all ages. Boasting several different excellent play areas there is something for everyone – even your teenagers will find plenty of ways to have outdoor fun! Special areas for toddlers make sure your little ones don’t get bumped into by more active and boisterous kids. The awesome adventure play area at the heart of the park might even tempt the parents too!

Sembawang Park

Fans of the ocean deep will love playing on Sembawang Park’s cool Battleship themed play ground. The huge ship has loads of different activities for children to enjoy, including lookout points, ropes, ladders, climbing nets, climbing turrets, and a big swing. It’s also really exciting to look at!

The glistening pond, set in some delightful gardens with plenty of colorful flowers, is a lovely spot for a picnic. There are several good eateries close to hand too. Go wildlife spotting and watch your kids’ eyes light up. If you’re feeling active you could rent a bicycle and peddle around the biking track. Children can play in the sand box and have fun at the different play areas, each home to a good array of popular play equipment.

IMM Roof Garden Playground

As well as two well-equipped play grounds you’ll also find a great water play area – perfect for hot days. Head under the canopy if you are all in need of some shade. There are slides, ladders, a tree house, and more!
